ROHS
•    EU Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in EEE (ROHS). The main goal of the RoHS Directive is to restrict hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment to protect human health, and to ensure proper recycling and disposal of waste to protect the environment. According to the directive, from July 1, 2006, in the new electrical and electronic equipment put into the European market, lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) or polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) must be met with the limit content value.
